Electric hair removal is a complementary treatment following laser hair removal.

Its aim is to remove the residual hair that may be left after a full laser treatment. In addition the following conditions can be treated:

• No contraindication with tanning. This treatment can be carried out throughout the year.
• All types of hair and skin colour including red, blond, white, grey and thin hair (duvet).
• Treatment of paradoxical hair stimulation.
• Treatment of isolated hair in the upper back or shoulders in men or chin, upper lip in women.

THE SESSION

Electrolysis involves introducing a needle in contact with the hair follicle in order to destroy its germinative cells. In order to successfully destroy it the follicle needs to be in active growth (known as anagen phase). I the follicle is not actively growing, then a session needs to be repeated.
